Frequently Asked Questions
Who benefits from Everybody Needs A Nurse's services?
The primary beneficiary is the senior client, who we work to keep independent and autonomous. The children of these clients also benefit because they can trust that their parents' quality of life, including their medical and social needs, is being looked after by an experienced, caring professional. We can benefit anyone over 55 who has a complex medical issue and needs help sorting through options or needs a supportive hand.
Who qualifies as a person with a complex medical issue?
Anyone who has two or more chronic conditions-such as hypertension, diabetes, or memory loss-or who sees a number of specialist physicians would benefit from our services. Also, people who have one serious or progressive medical issue that requires monitoring, such as Parkinson's, dementia, or heart disease.
Do you take Medicare or private insurance?
Not at this time.
How are you paid?
We are paid by our clients on a fee-for-service basis. To learn more about our rates and specials, contact us at (919) 606-1819.
How often do you visit the average client?
We generally see clients once or twice a week, depending on the client's needs and schedule, with a visit to one client lasting about an hour and to a couple lasting about an hour and a half. But this amount can increase or decrease as a client decides, with no penalty or obligation.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes.
Do you require a minimum number of visits?
No. Although most of our clients want ongoing services, we can make just one home visit to monitor medications or provide guidance on a specific issue.
Do you provide references?
We are happy to provide references upon request. Simply contact us.
