What is a Patient Advocate?
A patient advocate is an independent person who works directly for the patient, helping them research, select, and manage their healthcare providers. An advocate serves no agenda but yours, and helps you navigate the intricacies of our health care system.
Although a patient advocate does not need to have a clinical background, a registered nurse makes an ideal patient advocate because she understands how the health system operates. In addition, she can monitor your medications and provide a "clinical eye" that can see at a glance whether you are thriving.
Everybody Needs A Nurse offers that "cut-above" patient advocacy that only comes from an experienced registered nurse.
We will always be there for you.
